I love, love, love this pasta. It's so easy to make and so delicious. The easiest recipes are often the most delicous, talking about Italian food, because with not to much ingredients, you can taste every single ingredient. That's why I love this pasta so much, and because basil is one of my favourite herbs.
When I'm homealone, when I'm in a hurry, when friends are having dinner at my place, or just for my family: it's always the right occasion to make this pasta. Believe me!

4 persons
  • 380 gram (0.84 pound) linguini or spaghetti
  • 400 gram (0.89 pound) cherry tomatoes
  • 2 hands of fresh basil
  • 7 tablespoons extra virgin olive-oil
  • 1 piece of garlic
  • salt and pepper

10 minutes

Follow the cooking directions on the packaging of pasta to cook the pasta 'al dente' in a pan with salted water. While the pasta is cooking, halve the tomatoes and put them in a big bowl. If the basil leaves are really big, tear them in smaller pieces. Peel the garlic and cut it in little pieces. Add the basil, garlic and olive-oil to the bowl. Flavour it with salt and pepper. Now crush everything a bit. Drain the pasta when it's ready and then add it to the bowl. Mix everything and your pasta is ready!

Hello again! Today I made pictures with  my sister. So this is the first blog post with pictures made by my sister. What do you think of it? I think she did a really good job! We made around 250 (!) pictures, so more outfit posts coming up..
I'm wearing a new skirt, which a bought in Nijmegen yesterday (later a post about my day in Nijmegen). I've been searching so long for a skirt like this. So I'm really happy I finally found one! I really like this kind of skirts, because you can combine them with a lot of things. And I just like the way it fits :)

You've probably all heard of & Other Stories, the younger sister of H&M, COS, Weekday, Monki and Cheap Monday. They've just opened their first store in London. This summer I'm probably going to London, so you can guess what I'll do then. Paris, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Berlin and Stockholm will follow after London. Unfortunately not one in the Netherlands, but fortunately their website is online now as well.
Their collection is based on four themes: contradiction & minimalist, sophisticated & architectural, poetic & dandy, industrial.
The problem with these themes is that they're quite basic, they don't use many colours. Therefore clothes will soon look boring. Well, that's what I found about the 'ready-to-wear' collection. There were some awesome pieces of course, but overall the 'ready-to-wear' collection disappointed me a bit.
On the contrary I'm in LOVE with their bags, jewellery and especially their shoe collection. They all have this special thing. I can't describe exactly what.
A made a top-five of the things in my shopping bag, and that wasn't easy, there were far too many things in my shopping bag.

Abigail Lorick Oxfords

Oh my word...I have no words for this. These shoes are by far my most favourite item on the webshop.
I want I want I want I want I want..

Contrast knit dress

(product name angle)(product name angle)

This dress is actually really simple. Just black with a few lines, minimalistic. The typical style of & Other Stories. I like it.

Cat-eye sunglasses

(Replace width product name and angle)

The sunglasses collection is amazing. Actually I love all of the sunglasses from & Other Stories. This one is my favourite, because of the colours, mint and brown, (I love them both and especially the combination) and the retro looking model.

Brass Ring

(product name angle)

Just a silver ring. But that shape, woooow.

Open ankle boot

(product name angle)(product name angle)

And again it's all about shape and lines. Special but simple.

There's only one thing left that I wanted to say: it's free shipping, wooop woooop!
Hello & Ohter Stories order, bye money!

What do you think about the collection of & Other Stories? Are you going to order something?

I haven't written on the blog for such a long time! I can't believe it..I think it's like one month ago I wrote the last time on the blog?! But I have a good reason for it.
I took part of an exchange with England, more precise with Chester-le-Street, a place between New Castle and Durham. And I had such a great time! The people there are quite different. For example the style there is different from here and boys are more into fashion, I think. Further I visited the Durham cathedral, Harry Potter has been filmed there! So that was just awesome. We're already planning to go back in autumn or summer!
After I got back from New Castle I went to Switserland for skiing and snowboarding. I enjoyed the snow but to be honest I'm really looking forward to spring now. Unfortunately it has just started snowing here...
Anyway it's good to be back!
